I've just started running and have not completed any running events.

Short-Term Running Goals:

My main goal right now is to complete the Portland Marathon in October however, as training continues I'm sure to add a time goal.

After the marathon I hope to continue training, losing weight, and gaining strength and muscle

Long-Term Running Goals:

In my lifetime I want to qualify for the Boston Marathon and complete it with a reasonable time

Personal:

I'm in law enforcement and want to use running as a way of staying fit and safe.
